Women in AI Hackathon
Build the tool you wish existed.
Join us for a hands-on, women-only AI Hackathon where real-world challenges become practical AI-powered solutions.
Organised exclusively by Nexus Innovation Hub Ltd.
The brief
Build the tool you wish existed.
Participants will work in teams of 3–5, develop an AI prototype and pitch their solution to a judging panel. The winning team will receive a £100 prize. Open to women aged 18+, from complete beginners to experienced professionals.
02Build
Make a useful first version
Use AI where it genuinely helps. A clear, testable prototype matters more than a long slide deck.
03Show
Pitch what works
At the end of the day, teams will show the practical value of their build to a live judging panel.
How the day works
Turn up. Build together. Show the useful bit.
- 01
Form a mixed-skills team
Teams of 3–5. Developers, designers, founders, students, HR professionals, community organisers and people with lived experience are all welcome.
- 02
Choose the problem
Work from the event brief or a well-defined need that the team can explore safely and practically in one day.
- 03
Pitch the prototype
Show what the user can do, why it helps and what should happen next. The winning team receives £100.
